Is the background remover free?
AI background removal is part of Rasterbator Pro. Each image uses 1 credit: the 7-day pass includes 50 credits and the monthly plan includes 300 credits a month. If a removal fails, the credit is refunded. All other Rasterbator tools stay free.
What happens to my photo?

Can I remove backgrounds from many images at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 JPG, PNG or WebP images and remove all their backgrounds in one go. Each image uses 1 credit, failed images are refunded and can be retried, and you can download everything as one ZIP file.
Which images work best?
JPG, PNG and WebP photos with a clear main subject, such as a person, a pet or a product, give the cleanest results. Very busy scenes or subjects that blend into the background may need a second try.
Can I download a transparent PNG?
Yes. Keep the transparent background to download a PNG with transparency, or switch to a white or colored background to download a JPG. Changing the background doesn't use another credit.
Does it keep the original resolution?
Yes. A smaller copy is sent for processing, and the cutout is then applied to your full-size original in the browser, so the download has the same resolution as your photo.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits are valid for the pass or billing period they come with and expire at the end of it. Yearly members get 300 new credits each month.
