Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rasterbator, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Rasterbator is a free, browser-based tool that converts digital images into multi-page halftone posters. The service processes images entirely in your browser and generates downloadable PDF or ZIP files for printing. Rasterbator Pro is an optional paid membership described below.

Rasterbator Pro (optional)

All poster tools stay free. Pro lets you download images sharpened with AI, removes ads and gives your Gallery submissions priority review. AI sharpening runs on your device, and results vary from image to image.

• Plans: a 7-day pass (USD 4.99, one-time, never renews), and monthly (USD 5.99) or yearly (USD 49.90) subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Checkout shows the final price including tax. Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record.
• Cancelling: you can cancel renewal anytime from your account page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds: refunds are not automatic. Duplicate charges, mistaken renewals and technical problems are reviewed case by case. Email [email protected] with your account email and order reference. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
• Gallery review: members' submissions are reviewed within 24 hours and other submissions within 7 days. These are review times, not a promise that a submission will be approved.

No Warranty

Rasterbator is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or quality of posters generated by Rasterbator. You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rasterbator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, printing costs, or damages from defective output.

Intellectual Property

The Rasterbator software, website design, and branding are owned by Rasterbator.org. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or design without permission.

You retain all rights to images you upload and posters you create. By using Rasterbator, you represent that you have the right to use the images you upload and that your use does not violate any third-party rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Rasterbator for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these terms. Prohibited uses include:

• Uploading images you do not have the right to use
• Creating posters with illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the service
• Using the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to Rasterbator at any time, for any reason, without notice. These terms remain in effect even after termination where applicable.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Rasterbator after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
