Introduction

Rasterbator is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our free online poster maker tool.

Data Collection

Rasterbator is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal data:

• Your uploaded images are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers
• We do not collect, store, or have access to any images you upload
• The free tools never require an account. An account is only needed if you choose to buy Pro.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PageView, and Cloudflare analytics to understand site usage and improve the product. These services may collect page views, browser/device details, approximate location, and interaction signals. They do not receive the images or PDF files you upload.

You can reduce or block analytics tracking with browser privacy settings, tracking protection, or analytics opt-out tools.

Cookies

Rasterbator uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising, and basic site operation. Google AdSense and analytics providers may set cookies or local identifiers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the poster tool still runs locally, though ads and analytics may change. If you sign in, a necessary sign-in cookie keeps you signed in, and your browser remembers that it has signed in before.

Third-Party Services

Rasterbator uses third-party services including Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PageView, and Cloudflare for advertising, analytics, and site delivery. Your images and generated files are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to those services.

Public poster gallery submissions

Images used in the Rasterbator poster tool stay in your browser and are not uploaded. If you choose to submit a poster photo to the public poster gallery, that image is voluntarily uploaded, stored for review, and may be displayed publicly after approval. You must own or have permission to share submitted images. You can request removal with your private management link, or use the removal request form if you lost the link or need to report rights/privacy concerns.

Accounts and Pro

If you sign in, we store your email address, your Google account identifier and profile picture (Google sign-in only), and a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. Email sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. We never request access to your Gmail or Google Drive. When you create an account we also record how you signed up (Google or email), where on the site you started (for example the pricing page) and the site language, to understand which pages lead to sign-ups. We do not record your IP address or the website you came from.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record and collects applicable taxes. We never see or store your full card details. We keep order references, plan, amounts paid, access periods and refunds so we can restore access, prevent duplicate charges and answer support requests. For each checkout we also note which part of the site you started from and, once Stripe has it, your billing country (no address).

Pro membership does not change how your images are handled: they are still processed in your browser and never uploaded. For Gallery submissions from members we only record that the submission gets priority review, not who submitted it.

If you send feedback, we store your message, the optional email and screenshot, the page you were on, the language and a coarse browser/device label (never your IP address), so we can reply and fix problems.

To access, correct or delete your account data, email [email protected] from your account address. Payment records may be kept where needed to resolve payments, disputes or legal obligations.

Data Security

Since all image processing happens in your browser, your images never leave your device. This client-side architecture provides the highest level of security and privacy. We cannot access, view, or store your images because they are never uploaded to our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Rasterbator after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
